THE WORKSHOP SONGWRITER RESIDENCY

The Workshop Songwriter Residency is a four-day creative retreat designed to give songwriters dedicated time and space to write, collaborate, rest, and reconnect with their craft.
Hosted in Billings, Montana, the residency brings together a small cohort of selected songwriters for a weekend of guided writing sessions, collaborative feedback, outdoor experiences, and community-building. Participants will spend time exploring the beauty of Montana while developing new creative work in a supportive environment.
The residency is intentionally small, allowing for meaningful connection, individualized attention, and deep creative work.

Set against the backdrop of Montana’s wide-open landscapes, the residency brings together a small cohort of dedicated songwriters for four days of co-writing, mentorship, thoughtful conversation, and artist-centered hospitality. Every detail—from shared meals and comfortable accommodations to local transportation and curated experiences—is thoughtfully planned to create a welcoming, stress-free environment where creativity can flourish.
