About Your Coach

Angie Goeke began singing at a very young age, always under the guidance of a vocal coach. This has given her many opportunities to perform for a variety of audiences, from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to concert enthusiasts on 6th St in Austin, TX. Her vocal studies resulted in many awards throughout middle school, high school, college, and as a professional singer-songwriter.

She began teaching vocal lessons shortly after college in St. Louis, MO and Lakewood, CO. Her independent study continued once back in TX for 10 years in Austin. Once relocating to Houston, she continued vocal coaching under renowned vocal coach, Tom McKinney, whose list of clients includes Beyoncé, Solange, Demi Lovato, Scott Hoying, Mary Sarah and so many more. Goeke trained under the Tom McKinney Vocal Studios to become an adjunct coach. Her students have won contests and have been accepted into highly regarded music and performance programs.

Now Angie coaches in Billings, MT, providing years of experience, vocal techniques and secrets to her clients. She continues to perform, record, and tour from Montana to Texas and beyond.

What is vocal coaching?

There is not one singular method or equation to become a trained vocalist. Every person has nuances in their vocal instrument. The job of a good coach is to listen and watch, studying each voice to uncover what areas to focus on for the client to reach their vocal potential. Each 50 minute session includes vocal, mental, and physical exercises to discover areas of growth. Time is also spent for feedback on any current work that the client desires.
