Angie Goeke is an Austin-native singer-songwriter whose love for Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, and Brandi Clark seeps into every one of her haunting melodies and real-life lyrics. Armed with a ukulele and currently accompanied by Alfred Williford (guitar) and Thanushka Bandara (upright bass) she delivers thick lyrics wrapped in an angelic voice.
She currently lives in Katy, TX with her husband and four kids. She launched her songwriting in 2018, using years of life experience and musical know-how to quickly propel her in the Houston music scene. In 2019, she recorded her first EP, entitled KNOTS, at Lucky Run Studios with legendary sound engineer Michael Mikulka. She frequently plays full-sets of original music around the Houston-area and has also been an opener at the acclaimed Flusher House Concerts in Flusher, TX.
“My name is Michael Mikulka. I have been a producer, engineer and studio owner for over 30 years. I am also a 27 year Grammy voter. As such I have seen/worked with a lot of singers. Having said that a I can tell you that Angie is an exceptional singer… not one that comes around that often.”
